The legs are wooden and the top of the table is a slab of polished marble. We don't know the type of wood used. The marble slab can be removed and is very heavy. It has been in our family for years but we don't know it's exact age. There are a few marks and scuffs. There is a slight ring on marble. This imperfection can be seen in some light. Very tricky to show in photos. Please see the photos and video provided to see the condition. Great addition to any room. It can be used as a side table or a coffee table. We just don't have room for it anymore since moving.”
