Amusing series. The sort of TV that you can sit down with your Mum and Gran and not worry about unnecessary bad language, sex or violence which seems to be the trend these days.

I just wish there were 5 more seasons!I originally found this on PBS and started watching it. I found in this pkg all the episodes that PBS had never shown and was thoroughly pleased. I found Doc Martin via Top Gear on BBCAmerica as it is one of the best shows ever made and that is when I found Martin Clunes. I watch him on Direct TV as often as possible. These 10 discs are wonderful and it is a good investment. I sat down and watched them all pretty much back to back. In a few months I will put them back in and do it all over again. The ones I bought are region 2 so you need a player with that capability. If you have a Computer then just change the DVD to Region 2 and you are fine. Once you have changed to R2 you do not have to go back and change your settings on it as it will read any ... Well worth the money this dvd RRP was £40 I paid £18 plus P&P brand new unopened. Bargin. If you enjoy great british humour with excellent acting from all, then this is the dvd for you. I can watch it again and again, absolutly 1st class. They are making final series next year (2013) so good opportunity to watch from begining to refresh yourself of the story or to get aquainted with the characters.Well worth the money this dvd RRP was £40 I paid £18 plus P&P brand new unopened. Having visited Port Isaac (Port Wenn in Doc Martin's topography,) recently, we thought we really ought to catch up on the earlier episodes (which we had missed.) Bought this set for a bargain price on ebay - it was new! - and have been ploughing through it ever since. Really enjoyable, and everything one wants from a television series! Funny, exciting, dramatic, by degrees, and so very British! We are loving it, and haven't regretted purchasing it one little bit.
