Typical Ryobi ONE+ quality build and use.
Like some others here, I own a range of Ryobi power tools from the 18v ONE+ range and have found them to be reliable, strong and very user friendly. So when our existing mower (electric) started playing up, I pitched straight in and bought this Ryobi mower. We don;t have a lot of grass but it's an awkward shape and we have to trail leads round to the front of the house to do the front patch, so it is a pain! The mower arrived safe and sound. Unpacked it. Took about five minutes to put the main parts together properly. Very simple. Whacked a battery in it and took it out to try. What a difference. Light, easy to manoevre, cuts well (our grass wasn't too long to be fair). Collector empties easily and holds more cuttings than you'd think. Quick brush over and folded the handles down, in ... Really surprised!
I’ve got quite a few Ryobi tools now, I was happy with the strimmer and hedge trimmer, disappointed with the chain saw but this mower is excellent. My grass was 8” deep and circa 80m2 and it cut through with ease. It used 1x5amp battery and 1/2 4amp battery to do it. I think next time around il probably do the lot on the 5amp now it’s a bit shorter! Wheel and height adjustment easy.
