    High Impact strength polymer Inspection Chamber cover.

    The old inspection cover was made of cast iron which had been cracked by the builder. I looked at this plastic inspection cover just as a temporary replacement. However, I am impressed by its construction. I’m an engineer not a builder, but recognised that it was made of high impact/strength plastic injection moulded polymer to give it strength to withstand heavy loads. The wall thickness and lots of ribbing gives it a lot of stiffness too. Once placed onto the 4500mm wide inspection chamber you’ll have nothing to worry about. The cover size is for the diameter of the inspection chamber opening.
