Great troops for stability
This is by far the most stable and easiest to setup tripod I have ever owned. The legs drop down and lock at the simultaneous press of two short levers (bit of a knack but soon learned). Attaching a camera is as easy as with any other Manfrotto tripod. The only drawback is its size and weight, which is, of course, what gives it it's great stability; it weighs just over 6mgs or very nearly 13lbs. If you are getting on a bit, as I am, you will need a wheeled camera bag to help with lugging it about. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for hopping about taking loads of shots. But, if you need a stable platform for landscape,wildlife or macro work this is the one.This is by far the most stable and easiest to setup tripod I have ever owned. An ultimate tripod
