There are 3 open compartments on the top level, behind the writing flap. Then there is a drawer below that, then a bookcase behind 2 sliding glass doors and a cupboard below that, behind 2 wooden doors -- see relevant photos -- Overall this bureau measures 29" wide by 7.5" deep at the top and 12" deep at the bottom and it is 39.5" high, sitting flat on the floor. With the flap down, in the writing position, it is then 29" to ground level and 22.5" deep. There is 1 key. It is made entirely of wood ( not sure which one ) with a plywood back. -- it is described as solid and stable, but no woodworm - welcome to view, as we are not experts in this type of piece of furniture .. see photos .. can help with delivery at little more than fuel costs or collection and viewing in Bow, near Crediton ( EX17 6HX ) one of a few bureau we currently have for sale in our other auctions”
