You get what you pay for... Cuts through hardwood like butter and I love the versatility of batteries or mains. This is a heavy piece of kit, but worth every penny.

What I like about the saw is that it’s basically the same as the mains model as it is well tested and proven. It has the same power as well but I can now take it anywhere. It is heavy but what do you expect being a 12” mitre saw. I also always buy the dewalt recon tools because they have always been brand new in my eyes, and I saved a least a couple of hundred pounds on this model.

Why didn’t I get this sooner
With the choice between batteries and the 240v adaptor, this has beat of both worlds with only a slight extra in price......perfect!!

Best Saw I Have Worked With
This saw has changed the way I work. I now have the ability to take the saw to site where there is often no power. I get square accurate cuts better than the Circular saw and it is much faster. I can cut several pieces at one time and get finished faster. My only issue so far has been the weight but I would rather a well built solid saw than the flimsy, underpowered rubbish I have avoided buying. Worth the money for a serious user even for the seasoned DIY'er with deep pockets. Great bit of kit, recommend to anyone.This saw has changed the way I work. Bought a refurbished model couple of years ago, they are actually brand new but I think it’s DeWalts way of discounting tools. This is not the first time I’ve bought DeWalt refurbished tools and every time they are always new. Saw is really good but very heavy with the two batteries, Milwaukee just released 12” mitre saw in 18v just as powerful on their big 12ah battery but a lot lighter.
