These are a budget floorstanding speaker, but actually very good. Not quite up with my Kef 35.2's, but then they would be twice the price, both new and on eBay. For the money, these are excellent value. Good rounded tone, nice balance. Most likely better in a small to medium room. Overall I'm very pleased.

good speakers, a little light on bass, but once you have spiked them and filled the bottom cavity with sand/lead shot this improves things greatly. dont place too near a corner or they become quite boomy and tiresome, and make sure that you biwire them as it makes a big difference to imaging and detail! using mine with a poineer a107se amp and a poineer cd player with half decent ofc cable. i paid less than 50 for the speakers and less than 100 for the entire system, why bother with a one box sytem?

They are very heavy speakers!!!! The size of them, width and height, I was surprised by the weight!!!! I struggled to lift them!!! The review - I am impressed with the performance of the speakers. Good bass & clear sound. The weight of the speakers helps to achieve the sound, I was watching "transformers dark of the moon", wow loud sound!!! good explosions!!!! Also good with DTS and HD DIGITAL SOUND. Beware - make sure that you have the space for these large speakers. Originally RRP £150, Richer Sound gave them away at £99, I think they are still selling at this price. Overall, very decent sound, deep and wide. I am using them in a 7.1 THX cinema set up, with an Eltax centre speaker, two in the middle and two rear Eltax 180 floor standing speakers. If you see them on Ebay and you are on a tight budget, get them, don't hesitate.Read full review
