This fireguard was even better than the photo, I expected it to be light and flimsy for the price but I was wrong, it feels very good quality, sturdy and solid and enhances the look of our fireplace rather than ruining it like traditional fireguards can do. It is modern, functional and well worth the very good price we bought it for, in fact I am thinking of ordering another for our second lounge once the new fire has been fitted! I would highly recommend this fireguard.

This fire guard was needed to afford protection against garnchild falling on to our new, glass fronted Gas fire which is fairly flat fronted and the guard replaced the large black ‘security fence/box’ of a childproof fireguard we needed when our grandson was just toddling. It looks good and does the job by covering the whole front of the fire entirely (although it’s not fixed to the hearth back) .Only down point was that it came bearing s couple of scratches on the top ( burnished metal) top band - noticeable but not worth the hassle & time of returning it. Overall quite pleased with this.
