We needed a replacement microwave to fit a particular space and this one was the right size. It also needed to be white, digital and simple to operate. This fitted the bill admirably! There are 7 adults in the family and the microwave has been in use for about 6 weeks now and everyone likes it. It is easy to keep clean and looking nice too. Highly recommended.

I purchased this to replace a broken 'Proline' microwave. I picked this Panasonic as it was nearly the same specification: 19L vs 20L capacity. The turntables were about the same size too. I actually put in next to the old one for comparison and its near enough a match in external and internal size, ideal for me. Both the other make and the Panasonic were rated at 800W / Category 'E' , so you'd think they were like for like. My issue with it is, its not as powerful it seems despite both the Category rating *and* the Power rating being the same. I've based this on heating up soup as well as some 'frozen micro fries' and there's definitely a difference. I'd not say it was like it was only on "medium" (as that was the first thing I checked) however let me provide an example: Soup: Instructions say 2 mins / stir / 1.5 to 2 mins / wait / stir etc. If I did 2 mins for the second 'cycle' with the old one you could hear the pea's in the soup popping ( ! ) so 1.5 was plenty. The new microwave, well 2 mins / stir / 2 mins / no popping so I had to give it another 30 seconds. I realise that noise means its being 'overdone' however it does tell me the power 'output' does not appear quite the same. It was similar with the frozen fries too, they needed another minute. I guess the technology change could be the cause as I understand there are differences with things like inverters and the like. I only use them on 'manual' I've never bothered with any 'auto' programs as my microwave use is for simple heating only. Overall: Yes its OK and its good enough for me although I am just slightly disappointed its not as powerful as the old model despite me picking this one especially as it matched both Cat Rating and Power Rating. If it was a 0 to 10 rating I'd probably give it 7 or 8. Its fine it is just not quite as "pokey" as the other one I had for some reason...Read full review

We have had this for a couple of weeks and we are very pleased with it thus far. We wondered whether it would be big enough for ouur needs (retired couple) but is is very adequate. The interior will take a good sized dinner plate without difficulty. Operation of the controls was a little tricky at first due to the small lettering, but since we became familiar with each of the buttons we now find it very satisfactory.

Very good microwave oven and perfect for our needs . The Auto defrost is great to use and the controls are eay to programme. A good investment for a medium sized oven.
