I have one of these I have made one change to. I have changed the 8 inch speakers for Jensen Mod8 20 speakers. It cost me £50 for the two, and it improved the bass and low mid quite a bit. A deeper and more open tone for sure. If you are using this for acoustic bass, keys, vocals or backing tracks, then this change is seriously worth it. If it came with these speakers I would give it 5 stars. Everything else is excellent, especially the ability to connect to other amplifiers (I have paired it with another acoustic amp allowing me to hear the other amps inputs and three of this ones through both amps)

Good sound. Clean, or with effects. Different amp types work well. It loud enough to be heard. I have not needed to use it full. I use the direct input. Which is the loudest setting. The effects are fun. Reverb is OK for my blues. The overall sound is great. Looked at the one above, the street ex. Not sure I need it. This does the job.

I bought this as my cube Street was not quite up to the job playing a noisy pub. The ex is by far an improvement. Lots of ins and outs. Great sound. It makes you play better. It is a shame that Roland have not put any effort into the iPhone app for the last 5 years but it’s still a good facility being able to record and play through the dedicated link. I’m glad I bought it. The cover is worth getting. Also fits in the overhead locker on Ryanair!

I haven't really used it much at any volume yet because of the Covid lock down, but i use it at home. The only thing i have had a problem with is that the labels on the dials are a bit hard to see but my eyesight is not as good as it used to be.I usually mount the amp on a stand so it is at a height that i can easily change the volume /effects etc.. I have an led light with a clip that i attach to the amplifier so i can see the controls more clearly, the light is powered by a USB rechargeable battery pack. The stand i use is a GSS 100... cheap and rugged and lot cheaper than the Roland one.. I wrapped carpet tape around mounting pole a few times as the pole is a bit thinner than the female hole in the amp but it works very well.
