Pretty easy to put together, I guess it took me 40 mins of which 5 mins were spent working out which way around the mixing paddled went. It's easy enough for one other than fitting the sprung handle which needs two sets of hands. It's noisy despite a good layer of grease on the rack but for the home user it's fine, so far it's mixed a couple of tons without problem. Small enough to store in the garden shed.

If you want a mixer to mix a bucketful of cement/concrete it is OK but the quality of the machine is so poor. The running gear is very noisy clanking away due to a poor fit into the drum teeth. It is what it is for the money. For occasional use to mix a tiny load. Not recommended for a large DIY project.

Great little mixer. bought it for making a new drive and wall that I am currently doing. Pretty small but more than adequate for the the purpose. If I was doing concreting I would get a bigger model. My only problem is the size of the aperture, can't quite get a shovel in so have to use a spade. Great little mixer, and now I nickname it the pig as it grunts when loaded lol

Supplied as a kit in a remarkably small but heavy box. Very good illustrated assembly instructions. Parts are unpacked almost in the order that they are needed. Small parts are in clearly labelled bags. You will need flat and cross head screwdrivers and metric or adjustable spanners. Actual assembly is very easy and can be completed by one person although there is one point where a second would be helpful. In use the mixer holds about 2-3 buckets full, enough for household DIY jobs. Mixes mortar or concrete well and can also be used for mixing compost. The drive gear is a bit noisy but works satisfactorily and you will be using it outdoors anyway. There are many similar kits on the market but the yellow and black scheme looks nicer than building site orange.

it works as advertised. Diagram instructions not good. Should be much clearer. Manufacturers regularly skimp on the quality and size of the assembly instructions. This product is in this category. It is not every day people assemble a cement mixer in kit form!!
