Took me hours to put together. Hours! Would have been a lot easier if I had an electric screw driver. I couldn't put the oven knobs on properly so they're waiting for an electric screw driver. I will say this: my kids (twin two-year olds) are very disappointed that water does not come out of the tap. 😂 The price was great, cheapest I found and was delivered in a day or two. The washing machine is very small though. There's no need for its tiny, tiny size. It gets played with every day. They have a tea set, food bits and other crockery etc. Plus a few of their much smaller clothes for the insanely tiny washing machine. I looked at a few kitchens but I'm definitely glad we went with this one.

I spent two afternoons (approx 3-4 hrs) assembling this item and found numerous poor design features that people should be aware of. Firstly, do not believe the manufacturers claim that you only need one screwdriver, have at least three or more. Also, you will need these screwdrivers to have very slim handles, later on assembling you will see why I have said this, especially when you get to the assembling of the washing machine area. The screws are made of an aluminium composite and are of dubious quality, easy to ruin the tops. Furthermore, I used some Vaseline to help ease the more uncooperative screws in place and also had to use a drill to make pilot holes for such. When assembling the top/counter, I suggest you make pilot holes here and apply the Vaseline, it is extreamly difficult to turn a screwdriver because there is no room for you to turn your hand. You also have to push down on the screw whilst turning the screw in, this is very difficult because on assembling, the whole thing will be turned on it's side following the instructions. The washing machine door is a joke. It is not fit for purpose and only the slightest pull on this will release it from the hinge and, as you would expect when something keeps coming off and being put back again, only serves to make the fitting looser. Even though I have not given this a good review, if you overlook the assembly problems and washing machine design it has been enjoyed by our little one and I suppose that is all that matters? The size is perfect, colours nice and there are plenty of features. As with everything, buyer be aware! Read full review

I read lots of reviews before I bought this as a Christmas present for my 2 sons, (age 1 and 2). It really is lovely. They love it. The reviews are right it took a qualified carpenter an hour and a half to build! Could be even better if: the hob was stuck down (think I'm going to do this with some super glue), the washing machine door wasn't so stiff that the boys keep pulling the whole door off trying to open it and it would be nice if there was a plastic toy dishwasher rack in the dishwasher. Plus you can only really fit a pair of socks in the washing machine barrel! Saying that, it's sturdy, well made, and I'm really happy with it.

The kitchens ok but not great quality. Some of the parts do not fit flush so one door doesn’t close properly, and the mdf isn’t the best. As I screwed in the last screw the shelf broke, so annoying, and to replace it I’d have to take most of it apart again. You’d think it would be more durable considering it’s going to be put through its paces with excitable kids. Would I recommend.... no, invest in something a little better quality.
