The item was probably even better than described. High magnification in the photos show some of the scratches and pittings of age, but these are scarcely visible to the eye. The watch works a treat, although probably unlike the revised version needs winding every twenty four hours.. it won't go longer, but there is real pleasure in this. It's a beautiful watch and one of my best ebay purchases. Sent quickly and inconspicuously but carefully wrapped, I hope i can purchase from this seller again.
