    Excellent film for children aged 8 and above.

    This is the second dvd i have purchased for my grandchildren,the oldest one who is 10 loves this film,having watched it several times.They now have 1 to watch at home and 1 to watch at my house.

    Please make another - Loved this film!

    After their parents are killed and their home destroyed in a mysterious fire, the Baudelaire orphans are embarked on a series of adventures, shadowed all the while by their mischeivous 'actor' uncle, Count Olaf who has designs on their inheritance. It soon becomes clear that he will stop at nothing and nobody to gain his hands on this wealth and it will take all of the children's inventiveness and ingenuity to foil Olaf's evil machinations. Jim Carrey is absolutely superb in this film and reminds you why he is such a great comic actor - hamming it up to his heart's content. A film which owes a lot in tone to the movies of Tim Burton, this film is as much for adults as it is for children. Made from the first three books in the Lemony Snicket collection, i for one would love to see some ...

    Watchable! A Series Of Unfortunate Events (DVD)

    A Lovely Well Adapted film for All the Family! Staring 3 Orphan Children who are to live with their Estranged and Nasty Uncle Count Olaf who's only interest is in getting his Dirty Hands on the Childrens Fortune. The Children are pasted on to Other Relatives but Count Olaf is always Close with yet another idea on how to gain Guardianship of the Children. Will these 3 Very Clever Orphans get their own back and Claim what is Rightfully theirs??? My 6 & 9 Year Old Daughters really like this Film and they have watched it Many Times Over! 100% Recommended!
