This television makes me wonder why today's preferred choice of a mammoth screen is necessary. Sits in its environment without overpowering the whole room. The picture quality in normal or HD is excellent although best results are while viewing at eye level and square on to the screen. Sound is adequate, but I opted to give things a bit of a boost by passing it through the Hi-Fi system. Compact size makes it ideal for moving from one room to another & power consumption is half that of my old CRT TV.
