Bought this to replace my Phantom 3 Pro as I wanted something more portable and with less legal rules. It is superb. Video quality is almost as good as the pro and it does everything the pro did with the small exception of waypoint missions (using Litchi) while being faster to fly, having a longer battery life and easy to carry. It is less resistant to wind but will still cope with up to 20mph. Very happy

Great little drone - easy to fly for beginner but note that the DJI Fly app includes geo navigation preventing use of drone in CAA restricted zones. Quite sensible - but could be a problem if flying close to edge of a restricted zone. The gimble camera takes reasonably good quality photos & videos - not high standard but again, great for a 1st-timer. I haven't damaged any parts (yet) but the individual blades are flimsy and care is needed when packing/unpacking.

This drone is simply fantastic to fly. I also have a £90 snaptain drone which was a huge step up from a £40 tesco drone. The Mavic Mini is in another league completely. The snaptain struggles in light wind where as the Mavic Mini is steady and composed and give great confidence to fly as a complete beginner. The battery life is outstanding too.

The Mavic Mini is one of the best drone flying experiences I've had. It's nimble and responsive. The 2.7K footage looks great, and the three-axis-stabilization yields far smoother results than the two-axis-stabilized Spark was ever capable of capturing. There's something to be said for the old adage: The best camera is the one you have in your pocket. That's true even when the camera in your pocket is a drone. This is the best drone for most people. A part of what has always made me shy away from using drones more frequently is how big and invasive they can be. I love them, and I've flown them professionally and for fun for years, but they're a hassle to pack, a pain to carry, and so loud you're almost guaranteed to offend someone. The Mavic Mini eliminates the first two problems completely. It's small enough to throw in a little bag and carry with you all the time. It's still somewhat louder than I'd hoped, but it's the least intrusive drone I've flown. If you keep it about 50 feet up in the air, you'll hardly notice it. You wish you had ten batteries .Read full review

For someone who has never used a drone before, this product is brilliant. Super steady even in windy condition, with very informative software. It does have limitations regarding tracking a moving subject, but for the money, it ticks all the boxes. Combo is worth the extra as the batteries are pricey, and the multicharger helps too. 👍
