I have returned the Ryobi petrol hedge trimmer because I spent a whole day trying to get it running, I tried a new spark plug, new petrol, changed oil content, all combinations of chock priming pulls ect, my hand and arm are sore, the unit its self looks good quality wise , I have other petrol garden tools including Ryobi and they all start easy.

This is my second Ryobi hedgecutter.The first was a mains electric and was brilliant. I had it for many years. My hedges include a very long, very wide and high conifer hedge which the electric one did with ease. Eventually, after about ten years, the hedge got the better of the machine so I needed to replace it. It was a no braainer to get another Ryobi, but this time, a petrol one with "no Cord" So far, I have been very happy with it.
